Design Thinking: Holy Spells

In Graduate School, one of the buzzwords professors love to discuss is "Design Thinking." Design Thinking is an iterative process in which we seek to understand the user, challenge assumptions, and redefine problems to identify alternative strategies and solutions that might not be instantly apparent with our initial level of understanding (Dam and Siang). Design Thinking enables a company to understand consumer needs to serve their audience better. For this project, I contacted different companies to learn how the organizations apply Design Thinking to their market offerings. I spoke with Holly Spells and learned more about the company.

1. What makes Holy Spells different from other brands on the market?

Holy Spells is a brand that does not make the same products; each product is unique and timeless, the products are made of second-hand fabrics (100% upcycling), plus we invented our own technique, which no one on the market has!

2. How does Holy Spells stay ahead of upcoming trends?

We don't do something that will be fashionable seasonally. Our things are always relevant because we don't follow trends. We create art objects that will be relevant forever! Our pieces never get old.

3. Where does Holy Spells draw inspiration from during the design process?

We try not to follow the world but to get ideas from our own inner world. We believe that ingenious things can be invented only when you don't look at anyone else but look deep into yourself. All new ideas come to us in the process when we are working on a project. After finishing one project, the next ideas appear.

4. How does Holy Spells incorporate its mission and vision into its product offerings?

We are an ecological, conscious brand, and our brand mission is to create products that will not harm the environment.

5. What is the future of the company?

Holy in the future is a global brand known throughout the world for its conscious approach to fashion. We will develop new technologies, waste, and recycling to improve and improve this market. In the future, we will not only recycle fabrics but also create our own raw materials from plants and other uses for the planet.
