Do you want to time-travel? It's possible. Just close your eyes and experience the Proust Effect (Green et al., 2023), the phenomenon where smells or tastes evoke powerful, nostalgic memories. It's the reason why theme parks pump cinnamon scents through air ducts, or why a particular flower can remind you of a loved one.

When I walked into Aroma360, scent greeted me the same way a person would. I was no longer standing on the bustling Las Olas. Instead, I had entered a place where fragrance reigns supreme. I spoke with sales associate Rachel B. to learn more about how family-owned Aroma360 transforms a space into a home.

Aroma360 Interview

  1. What makes Aroma360 different from other scent brands?

Beyond the quality of our oils, it’s really about the people and the culture we’ve built. Aroma360 has a dedicated mixologist team that believes in a health-conscious approach to our products. When you walk into Aroma360, the company views its employees and clients as family. This philosophy permeates the way we connect as employees, how we engage with our leadership, and ultimately, how we connect with our community.

  2. How has Aroma360 evolved since it was founded?

Since its founding, Aroma360 has expanded geographically, opening multiple locations across the country. We now have clients who know us by name and feel a genuine connection to the brand. What we've really focused on is deepening those relationships. We refined our customer service to create a sense of familiarity, ensuring that every client feels cared for. That's been the heart of our growth.

  3. How do you incorporate the company's mission and vision into the products?

Our hypoallergenic oils are formulated with a health-conscious approach. We want people to feel connected to the notes expressed within a scent. We also wish for their body to connect with it as well.

When our team mixes ingredients and creates scents, we're incorporating lifestyle into the process. We ask ourselves: How does this work for a mom at home with two kids? For a family? For our single clientele who come home alone? We want them to return to a scent that feels familiar and evokes a sense of calm, connection, and emotion. It's about creating a familial feeling.

We're continually growing, expanding our reach, and fostering deeper, positive connections with our clients. That will always be at the heart of what we do.
