For dog owners, the Dog Days of Summer (July 3 to August 11) never truly end (Boeckmann, 2026). Every day is an opportunity to celebrate the companionship, loyalty, and joy dogs bring into our hearts. The pet care industry reflects that devotion. In 2025, the global pet care market was valued at approximately $273 billion, with continued growth projected in the years ahead (Fortune Business Insights, 2026). As more brands enter the market with products claiming to improve pets' lives, owners are increasingly looking for companies that provide more than quality nutrition. They want brands that really understand the bond between dogs and their humans. Stella & Chewy's has built its reputation by doing exactly that, supporting pets through carefully designed nutrition while promoting meaningful connections within the dog-loving community.

On July 17, Stella & Chewy's partnered with DOG PPL to celebrate the Dog Days of Summer, creating a gathering where baseball, dogs, and friendship came together in one unforgettable event: The inaugural Most Valuable Pup (MVP) Experience in Santa Monica, California. 369 dog parents joined with pets as they watched the Dodgers vs. Yankees game.

For most people, focusing on a game for 9 innings can be tough. Just imagine how your pet might feel watching you watching 9 innings. Stella & Chewy's and Dog PPL created a third space so people and their pets can create lasting friendships. Guests and pets had "MVP trading cards sketched on-site, Wild Wild Weenie dog treat carts, a human and dog "team photo" photo booth, gift bags filled with Stella & Chewy's freeze-dried raw Meal Mixers and Breakfast Sprinkles, a live DJ, and the LA vs. NY rivalry on the big screen — with every MVP front row" (Stella & Chewy's, 2026).

Dogs reminded their owners that humans worlds are not limited to what is a screen.. As someone who loves dogs, it's great to see how Stella & Chewy's goes above and beyond for the animals we love and the humans can trust.
