Style's Reawkening: How Elisabeth Kassab Is Ushering A Renaissance

In the 1995 Paramount Pictures film Clueless, protagonist Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) begins her day by using her computer to create the perfect outfit. Twenty-eight years later, many people continue to follow in Horowitz's footsteps as they use technology to make their looks. What goes through a person's mind when choosing their outfit? On the surface, a person thinks of the weather, daily tasks, and social interactions when selecting an outfit. On the sub-conscience level, they wonder, " How can this random shirt or pair of jeans magically transform into your Aegis?"

Elisabeth Kassab is the Chopin of style. She uses her instrument (her Instagram account @stylistcheck) to orchestrate iconic outfits. Kassab's styling business has garnered the admiration of business moguls, content creators, and podcast pioneers. I had the chance to speak with her to learn more about her career journey.

2. How can a person elevate their style?

I believe accessories are a great way to elevate a look. A great bag, pair of earrings, or sunglasses can take a look to the next level.

3. What advice would you give to someone who wants to become a stylist?

Aspiring stylists should use social media to connect with potential clients and established professionals in the field. A well-written DM or email will show that you have the passion, proactiveness, and energy needed to succeed.

4. How do you incorporate your mission and vision into your work?

My mission is for people to feel good in the clothes they wear. My vision is to continue to inspire fashion choices by posting engaging content on social media.
